フラッシュメモリ製品メーカーのSanDiskから、PlayStation 5(PS5)でもPCでも使えるポータブルSSDの「SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD for PlayStation 5 Console and PC」が登場しました。読み出し速度は最大1000MB/秒と高速なので、PS5本体のストレージに空き容量がない場合、SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD for PlayStation 5 Console and PCにゲームデータを保存してそのままゲームをプレイすることも可能とのこと。PlayStationの公式ライセンス商品でもあるSanDisk Extreme Portable SSD for PlayStation 5 Console and PCを入手したので、実際に使ってみました。
